Based on my collage, I bought most of these things out of wants. The games, and food were just wants. I had money saved up to buy a PS4, it was a want of mine, and I couldn’t wait to have a new game system. I would say the food mostly is wants, but is also a need since we didn’t have any food in the house to eat. The blueberry muffin I bought for breakfast over at a bakery because I didn’t eat anything for breakfast that day. Most of my food choices are unhealthy but I don’t mind. They’re extremely good and I wanted to eat them. The shoes I bought out of pure desire, because platform shoes call to me. I like feeling tall. The cake pops and starbucks were bought out of desire as well. I decided I wanted to do something that day so I went to Starbucks. I can say my economic decisions were persuaded by many of these things including the need to buy the PS4, when I could always wait for the price to drop. Most of these items are pure wants. Qtips and sunscreen to me are important and are needs to me, as well as the socks. Clay was needed for projects for my ceramics class.
